For warts to appear, two conditions must be met: that a person has a papillomavirus infection in the blood (the so-called HPV - human papillomavirus) and that his immunity is extremely weakened.
A decrease in the body's immune forces can occur for many reasons, just as infection with a virus can occur in different ways, but the result is the same - the appearance of warts, with which you have to fight.Sometimes using folk remedies.
Traditional medicine has a long history, but often loses in speed and effectiveness to modern methods.
The question of the effectiveness of traditional medicine
Treatment of warts with folk remedies was carried out by our ancestors long before official medicine recognized such growths on the skin as a medical problem, and even earlier than the terms cryodestruction and laser exposure appeared.Warts were treated with various creams, infusions, baths and compresses and these recipes are still used in the modern world.
Is this treatment effective?
Not always, and there are several explanations for this:
- Each person's body is individual: the rate of development of the virus and its variety (strain) may be different, so one person may not be suitable for the same wart treatment that helped another;
 - a modern person can have an allergic reaction to any traditional medical ingredient added to the anti-papilloma drug, which can lead to worsening growth problems;
 - It makes no sense to remove advanced formations that have begun to degenerate into malignant cells using traditional methods, as this will not stop the pathological process of developing skin cancer - melanoma.

This is important!Each person can choose whether to trust alternative medicine.However, it is best to consult a specialist for this, who will suggest the right decision and warn of actions with serious health consequences.
Folk remedies for warts
Answering the question of how to treat warts, it must be said that there are some more common folk remedies.
Celandine
Celandine juice removes skin growths painlessly and effectively.
- Take the freshly squeezed juice (to extract it you will have to cut the stem of the plant in the thickest part) and apply the extracted contents to the wart.
 - Repeat the procedure up to 4 times a day for 3 weeks.
 - After the course of treatment, the formation should turn black and fall off.

Acetic acid
As a means of removing warts, acetic acid should be used with extreme caution;if the safety rules are violated, this can lead to burns on the skin.
- To prevent the acid from damaging healthy skin, the immediate area around the mole should be covered with an adhesive plaster before applying it.
 - Take flour on the tip of a knife and mix with 2-3 drops of acetic acid to get a dough-like composition, apply to the wart and then cover with a sterile bandage.
 - The fresh mixture should be applied to the formation every day, and after a few days it will begin to die and dry.

Garlic
A natural immunomodulator and powerful antiviral and antiseptic antibiotic.
- Prepare a paste with garlic (2 cloves) and vegetable oil (2-3 drops).
 - Apply the mixture to the wart, cover with plastic wrap and leave for 20 minutes.After the expiration date, apply baby cream to the treated area.
 - If the procedure is carried out every other day, within a month even a large formation will dry up and disappear.Alternatively, you can use pure, freshly squeezed garlic juice.

Onions
The vegetable has properties similar to garlic.
- Peel the onion, chop finely and pour apple cider vinegar into a glass container.When the onion has been left for 3 hours, it will need to be finely chopped.
 - Strain the mixture, apply it to the wart and cover tightly with a layer of gauze.Keep the compress for 2 hours, then rinse the skin with water, dry and apply vegetable oil.
 - If you perform the procedure every day for 2 months, the formation will disappear without a trace.

Aloe
A plant that can save you from many problems, including warts.
- Prepare a soda solution (1 teaspoon of soda for 1 glass of water), wet cotton wool in it, which will then be used to wipe the growth on the skin.
 - Apply the cut aloe pulp to the treated skin, cover the compress with a bandage and leave it for a quarter of an hour.
 - The procedure is carried out every day for 2 weeks, after which the wart will soften so much that it can be easily removed with a pumice stone.

Castor oil
It helps to treat warts in a relatively short period of time: within just a few weeks after use, you can forget about the ugly growths.
- Apply or rub a few drops of oil on the formation, cover it with a sterile bandage.
 - After half an hour, remove the bandage, rinse and apply baby cream to the skin.
 - After 1-2 weeks of use, take a bath with warm water, in which the wart will finally evaporate and can be removed with pumice.

Tea tree oil

The product is effective, but may lead to skin irritation.
- Dilute tea tree oil with a small amount of water or olive oil, or best of all, with the contents of a vitamin E capsule. Apply the composition to the wart and let it dry.
 - The product should be used several times a day for several weeks.
 - To achieve faster results, you can apply undiluted oil, but only with a cotton swab and only directly on the wart.You can also take a bath with warm water and a few drops of pure tea tree oil 2-3 times a day for 20-30 minutes.

In exotic countries, tea tree oil is successfully used in dermatology.
Wormwood tincture
Wormwood kills the pathological cells of warts and provokes their death.
- Take 3 tbsp.l.chopped wormwood herb and pour boiling water (1 glass), then leave for 2 hours under the lid.
 - The prepared composition should be used for daily compresses in areas with growth.
 - It will be necessary to carry out the procedures for 3-5 weeks for the results to become visible.

You can supplement the treatment effect for warts by taking an oil-based wormwood solution:
- Take wormwood seeds (25 g), grind them in a coffee grinder and pour olive oil (100 ml) into a glass jar previously scalded with boiling water.
 - Let the product ripen for 3 days in a cool place, then drain completely.
 - It is necessary to take the tincture for 2 weeks, 5-6 drops at least 4-5 times a day.

Duck compress
This marsh plant is able to heal small wounds, have a local anti-inflammatory effect and suppress the growth of wart cells.
All you need for treatment: take the duck, cook it and apply it to the formations.Repeat several times a day for 2-3 weeks.
Fig juice

Effective for restoring normal skin pigmentation and removing warts.To do this, you need to grind the unripe fruits and apply them as a growing compress.You will have to repeat the procedure as long as it takes to remove the papillomas.
For compresses, you should choose green figs, not ripe ones.
Kalanchoe
If you grind a leaf of this plant, turning it into a paste, and apply it to the wart as a compress under a piece of plastic film, after 6 hours the skin of the formation will soften.
After a few sessions it can be removed with pumice.
Folk remedies for the treatment of warts, no matter how effective they are, should be used intelligently and carefully.
There are contraindications for their use:
- not recommended for use in the presence of allergic reactions;
 - Warts on the face and mucous membrane should not be removed, as this can lead to the formation of scars;
 - Under no circumstances should warts be removed using traditional medicine, unless there is complete confidence in their benign nature.

Pay attention!It is worth remembering that these drugs only remove the external signs of HPV - papilloma, and the virus itself remains in the blood, so the fight against the disease does not lead to the removal of the virus forever.
